The Teatro Grande in Pompeii opens the opera with two evenings of great value. Thursday, September 18, at 21, the space performance of “La Boheme” with the orchestra and chorus of the Teatro Massimo Bellini in Catania, conducted by maestro Alberto Veronesi, and the participation of tenor Vittorio Grigolo and soprano Maria Carfora, and Amalia Avilan. Saturday, September 20th, it will be the “Carmen” in the form of a ballet company Balletto del Sud and choreographed by Fredy Franzutti. The two evenings, organized by the “Association Sviluppo Sinfonico” and the “Foundation Carnovale” under the patronage of MiBACT will be presented to the press tomorrow morning at 11 am, in Rome, in the hall of the Ministry of Culture, in the presence of the Minister of Dario Franceschini and with the participation of the Superintendent of Pompeii, Herculaneum and Stabiae – Massimo Osanna, the General Manager of the Great Pompeii Project, gen. Giovanni Nistri, the President of the Foundation Carnovale prof. Giovanni Carnovale and maestro Alberto Veronesi.
