Great music in the Historical Center of Partenope. Saturday, December 6, at 19:30, appointment in the Sala Sisto V of the basilica of San Lorenzo Maggiore for the Autumn Music 2014. On stage musical musicians of the New Scarlatti Orchestra for the second stage of “Echi di Napoli“: an evocative Grand Tour through the colorful music of Neapolis, with the participation of the young soprano Neapolitan Mariateresa Polese (first violin concertante Francesco Solombrino). You will go from Serpina, irresistible protagonist of “Serva Padrona” by Pergolesi in a vibrant “Symphony” opera by Paisiello; refined “Canzone del pescatore” by Roberto De Simone in “Marechiare”; from “Vucchella” by Tosti and D’Annunzio at inspiration whimsical and evocative of Mario Pilati – great Neapolitan of the first ‘900 screened in Europe – and his “Inquiétude”; from “Le crépuscule” by Donizetti, ‘gouache’ music of a languid sunset posillipino (verses by Victor Hugo) to a tarantella of our days suspended between dream and reality. This and more in a program all to enjoy.
