Amalfi and Atrani on party, between show and historical re-enactments the New Year’s Byzantine becomes … international

Internationalism intertwined with the history of the Marinara Republic will also contaminate the Byzantine New Year’s events scheduled for September 1, between Amalfi and Atrani. Two shows that, as they are now customary, will open and close the rehearsal festival and will feature the Orchestra of Piazza Vittorio (31 August) and the Amalfi 839 A.D. musical, specially revised for the occasion. The event is organized by the Municipality of Amalfi, in collaboration with the Municipality of Atrani and the Cultural Center and Amalfi History, and is funded by the Campania Region within the POC Campania 2014/2020 – “Promotional Initiatives on Regional Territory”.
