Ensemble Artemus second act. After the applauded debut, last November 11th, at the San Francesco Theater in Scafati (Sa), where the soundtracks of the films and the great classics of international pop have been the masters, the youth orchestra founded by maestro Francesco D’Aprea (president of the music association Artemus) and the maestro Alfonso Todisco (artistic director of the Ensemble), returns to the scene with a new musical event entirely dedicated to Christmas.
THURSDAY 21 TO THE SAN PIETRO THEATER
The appointment with is for Thursday, December 21st, starting at 8.30 pm, in the setting of the San Pietro theater (Scafati). The program will include a first part dedicated to the masterpieces of the classical repertoire followed by a second in which the traditional songs of the most celebrated festivals will be featured, in collaboration with the Santa Maria delle Vergini choir of Scafati and the Santa Cecilia choir of Torre del Greco (Naples).
FROM MOZART TO SANT’ALFONSO DE LIGUORI
A young orchestral body of high professional value, directed by the master Todisco, will therefore engage in a musical repertoire of considerable beauty and depth. The ideal, in short, to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the Christmas holidays, lulled by the notes of the magic of Air taken from the Third Suite by JS Bach, or enjoying the brio of the Night Serenade by WA Mozart, the intensity of the Intermezzo from the Cavalry Rusticana Mascagni‘s and the warmth that comes from the Christmas carols of Sant’Alfonso Maria de Liguori.
