Searching for God in the life of the city, in Naples “The Arrival of St. Nicholas”

Photography, art and nativity painting to tell the search for God in the life of the city: this is the snapshot offered by the exhibition “The Arrival of St. Nicholas” , a preview of the XVI Festival of Sound and religious traditions in the world, which will be inaugurated on Saturday next (April 26), in the Monumental Complex of San Severo al Pendino in Naples. A photographic exhibition of many voices, sponsored by non-profit organization Oltre il Chiostro Onlus, in collaboration with the museum Arca and the permanent center of study and research on the Neapolitan crib, starring six artists who, through various forms of expression, in report on the role of the main monotheistic religions with their ability to create moments of great collective aggregation.

“The exhibition is scheduled in the Complex of San Severo is a preview of a Festival which this year will have its sixteenth edition – said Giuseppe Reale, president of non-profit organization Oltre il Chiostro and creator of the event – Combining photography, crib art and painting seemed the best prologue to an event that makes the interdisciplinary and intercultural one of his strengths”.

The exhibition “The Arrival of St. Nicholas” will be open until May 10, every day from 10 am to 6 pm, with free admission. The event is a project co-financed by the European Union under the Operational Programme ERDF Campania Region under the auspices of the City of Naples.
