The April 20, 2013 we celebrate the seventh edition of the world day dedicated to the record stores, with Jack White (White Stripes) as a testimonial. The focus of ‘common’ in all the cities that host such an event is represented by the screening of “Last Shop Standing”, the movie official ‘Record Store Day this year. “Last Shop Standing – The Rise, Fall and Rebirth of the Independent Record Shop” Pip Piper, inspired by the novel by Graham Jones, track the rapid rise of the record stores in the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s, from birth rock and roll until the punk, the influence of music on the record sales charts, the birth of the CD and the new digital technologies.
