Partenope calls, the lagoon city responds. Back, from tomorrow 21 until October 25, ” Venezia a Napoli”, an exhibition conceived and coordinated by Antonella Di Nocera, in the name of movie and meetings related to the 72nd Venice International Film Festival.

Less than 5 days to 16 titles and 20 projections in 6 halls of the center and the outskirts of Naples.

By AGIS Campania and Parallel 41 Productions, the event, organized in collaboration with the Venice Biennale and the support of the Ministry of Heritage and Culture and Tourism, is an important appointment with cinema quality with a focus on those securities that, although of great interest, sometimes struggle to find space in the ordinary distribution. Busy the program of events: the director Nepalese Min Bahadur Bham, will present on October 22 (19.30 Astra) “Kalo Pothi/The Black Hen”, while the Chinese Zhao Liang, will be in Naples (23 still Astra, 20 hours) to present his “Behemoth”. Among the stars of the show also Carlo Luglio, along with the cast and Giorgio Gosetti (Friday 23, at 21 to Modernissimo) for “Magma”; Valerio Mastandrea (Saturday 24, 20 hours Astra) manufacturer of “Do not be evil”, chosen to represent Italy at the Oscars in 2016; Antonio Capuano, together with the producers and the cast for “Bagnoli Jungle” (Saturday 24, 20.30, La Perla) and Franco Maresco who will present, with Bruno Roberti, “The men of this city do not know them” (Sunday 25 hours 18, Astra).

Numerous projections exclusive absolute as the two films which open on Wednesday 21, “Venezia a Napoli”: “In Jackson Heights” documentary film by Frederick Wiseman (20 hours, Astra) dedicated to one of the communities of New York ethnically and culturally heterogeneous United States and the world, and “Heart of a Dog” by Laurie Anderson (20.30, Filangieri).

Again exclusively Italian, Thursday 22 (Astra – at 21, and, in reply, Saturday 24 – 18 hours) “Tanna” by Martin Butler and Bentley Dean.

Visions extended to other securities under review, as in the case of “Mountain” by Yaelle Kayam (Thursday 22, at 18 the Astra), “Underground fragrance” by Song Pengfei (Friday 23, at 18, the Astra) “Island City” of Ruchika Oberoi (Friday 23, at 22, the Astra), “Free in Deed” by Jake Mahaffy (Saturday 24, at 22, Astra), “Montanha” by Joao Salaviza (Sunday 25, at 20, Astra).

Precious visions, from the “Venice Classics”, also dedicated to the students, will be “Othello” by Orson Welles, restored digital version (in a vision to Pierrot of Ponticelli, Wednesday 21, Thursday 22 and 10 hours to America Hall, 20.30) and “Amarcord” by Federico Fellini, the restored version with new materials selected and edited by Giuseppe Tornatore (projections Wednesday 21, 20.30, La Perla – Friday 23, 10 hours, modern room and 16 hours, Astra).
