It will be the cozy Villa Althea as a frame, Sunday, December 27, from 16, the first edition of Premio Althea, which provides awards for the best researchers engaged in the fight against genetic diseases, excellence of the territory, personalities actively involved in the revival Caserta and the high food and wine experts.
For the occasion, will also be inaugurated the Orangerie, the new wing of the complex of Ponte Volturno – Bellona, in the province of Caserta, which enriches a unique structure of its kind in southern Italy with its 5-hectare park totally dedicated events and over 500 square meters of workshops reserved for organic cuisine that privileges products at zero distance chosen from a carefully selected chain.
During 2016 the gardens of the location will become, also, in collaboration with universities, a real botanical garden to protect biodiversity and the helicopter landing will become a heliport available, not only the events organized in Villa, but also the surrounding territory.
The award will be followed by the third edition of “The Traditional sweets”, tasting delicious homemade panettone made by the pastry workshop of Villa Althea with the opportunity to contribute to the final push of the Marathon Telethon to give real hope of cure to all people struggling against a genetic disease.
