Al Maschio Angioino è tempo di “Instru:mentale Live”

Music, photography and literature. These, the main ingredients of Instru:mentale Live, free admission event, promoted and realized by the association Leottoezerotre, which will take shape in the courtyard of Maschio Angioino Naples, Wednesday, September 23, from 21 hours.

A unique event, who puts in the spotlight the multifaceted talent of the photographer Isabella Barbato (also author and director of the show – and her interesting project originated as a photo exhibition, but expanded over time to become a little masterpiece, which brings together more limbs.

To give input to the whole, a series of portraits made by Barbato ten Neapolitan musicians. Leonardo De Lorenzo Elisabetta Serio, through Gaemaria Palumbo Salvatore Torregrossa, Brunella Selo, Roberto Giangrande, Catello Tucci, Maurizio Capone, Lino Cannavacciuolo and Fabrizio Fedele. Intuition, leading to the emergence of a “band” with artists from different musical realities inspired by childhood memories and by the thought of Charlie Parker and Miles Davis. For the occasion, Isabella subtracting each musician plays his instrument and relies on set everyone a substitute object of common use that somehow evokes. From this photo shoot sui generis life then take a CD, a collection of music, the autobiographical “I wanted to run with Paolo Conte but I left the strawberries on the table” and a short film directed by Gaetano D’Auria with original music by Fausto Mesolella, screened in preview during the evening.

The event, which is part of the Summer festival in Naples organized by the city, will encompass, fusing, all sizes in the years that this project has taken and for the first time the musicians involved in the photographic work, recording and literature will gather for a special live with the cast of the short film. Other goodies in the lineup still top secret and the exhibition with photographs of the artists involved intent to play “what is not there.”
