Naples flooded with pianos for three days. Over the weekend goes from Friday 9 to Sunday 11 October, the notes of the white keys and blacks will resonate in every corner of the city with concerts, events in the living rooms of homes in Naples and historic sites, museums, theaters, and squares. Hundreds of pianists, Neapolitan and not, play any musical repertoires, crosses between classical and jazz, composition profiles and marathons improvisations. The festival Piano City Naples, designed by pianist Andreas Kern Berlin, is for the third time here in Naples, European capital of music and the cradle of a prestigious piano school, as well as cities with a long tradition both crafts and cultural piano dating back to the beginning 800.
The piano then goes through the streets of Naples and in new and unusual scenarios. The main venue will be the Monumental Complex of S. Paolo Maggiore, along with 30 other public venues that will soon be made known. The event is supported and promoted by the historic firm Alberto Napolitano Piano, under the patronage of the Campania Region, the Make section Campania, and the Fondazione Morra.
