The rediscovery of Naples with “Nomicosecittà”

Walking, look, tell. Will once again these are the watchwords of “Nomicosecittà”, the eye-catching event now in its fourth edition, which includes a series of raids led by local artists. The street, Saturday, April 11, at 10, with the writer Valeria Parrella, who will open the series of meetings in the last three years have led to the rediscovery of Naples over 800 people captured by the possibility of seeing with their own eyes unpublished city. Nomicosecittà, organized by Aste e Nodi  with the artistic direction of Mary Cinque in collaboration with the Department of youth, creativity and innovation and Informagiovani Network, is a collective narrative able to weave a loving relationship between those who live in Naples and button or simply through it, a process during which different points of view and partial meet and contaminate each other, a snapshot of complex and unusual places and familiar spaces and as such, often overlooked and sentenced to invisibility. Each participant, which calls for active involvement in the way he considers nearest kindred (photography, short story, poetry, drawing), will be equipped with a notebook on which to draw their feelings or mark notes, and finally, the materials of the walks will be collected in an exhibition curated by Chiara Reale. Participation in walking is free, but for organizational reasons you must fill out the form on the site www.nomicosecitta.org.
