It’s “all in one” the theme of the second edition of Smartup Optima, premium contemporary art designed and created by the eponymous Italian multi-utility with headquarters in Naples.

“The intention – explains the curator Chiara Pirozzi – is to tell the spirit of our times, the speed of action and communication, the ability of the icons and symbols, historical and contemporary, to represent different worlds and meanings through a single image”.

Born with the aim to promote the art and support artists under 40 Smartup Optima, already in its debut, has achieved significant results in terms of participation and visibility: “The wide participation of last year, some 600 works in 59 days notice – says Antonio Pirpan, brand manager of Optima Italy – are for us a confirmation of the importance of investing in art and to support young talent”.

The artists will have time to sign up (for free) until 12 October on the site www.optimaitalia.com. The works will be judged by a jury that will award a cash prize worth €5,000.00. Important news this year is the introduction of a second prize called the Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa, conferred directly by Stefano Coletto, curator of the institution of the Venice City Council, which will consist of a 15-day residency at the Fondazione.

Confirmed the prize to be awarded to the artist visibility that has received major acclaim from the jury “popular” that through the web can express their preference. Voting will open on October 13 and will close December 13, 2015.
