Are just some of the artists-friends, that tomorrow night, Tuesday, May 19, starting at 20, will remember the great Pino Daniele, in the monumental courtyard of the convent of San Domenico Maggiore, in the heart of Old Naples.
A particularly acute event, curated by Giorgio Verdelli, author and director of the program “Unici – Tu dimmi quando” of RAI 2, which will replicate the episode on June 3, which on this occasion will alternate on stage interventions and performance of colleagues and friends of Pino, but also video montages and unpublished, for a fond memory and punctual great Neapolitan artist who died prematurely a few months ago.
The evening, entitled “Unici nel Ricordo – Pino Daniele”, part of the program of May of Monuments 2015 with the theme ‘O Core ‘e Napule | Cori, hearts and colors of Napoli, who could not provide a tribute to an artist who took the picture and name of the city in the world and has written a new chapter in its long history of music.
Expected, among others, the director of the newspaper Il Mattino Alessandro Barbano, the deputy director of Rai2 Massimo Lavatore, the mayor of Naples, Luigi De Magistris, the Councillor for Culture Nino Daniele and other personalities from the world of culture and art as the actress and singer Lina Sastri and the writer Maurizio De Giovanni.
The initiative, promoted by the Culture and Tourism and by RAI 2, is organized in collaboration with the association Guviden “I Semi dell’Amore” and “Gabbianella Club”.
