It will be the Royal and Pontifical Basilica of St. Francis of Paola, in Piazza del Plebiscito in Naples, as a frame tomorrow, Saturday, November 28, at 19, the first date of the second part of “Harmonious Convivio 2015”, an exhibition organized by prominent Area Art Association.
To perform, for the occasion, the Ensemble Baroque “Le Musiche da Camera”, which will offer a rich instrumental program, which provides, inter alia, “Concerts At Napolitana”, among them one for harpsichord of “Ciccio” De Majo with solo harpsichord Debora Capitanio and Concerto Traversiere De Filippis with Renata Cataldi to flute. And, again, the concerts for Strings Durante and Mascitti, true masterpieces of the genre instrumental, and the tribute to the Maltese composer but of school and career Neapolitan Girolamo Abos with a Symphony for strings in G major and two arias for voice and arches with the first performance of the mezzo-soprano soloist Rosa Montano.
The second event of the weekend is, instead, to Sunday, November 29, at 19.30, in the Church of the Immaculate of the Vomero. Guest, the Ensemble Baroque “Labirinto Armonico” of Pescara, who will present “The Soave Melodia”: a journey into the Baroque trio sonata and the Apollonian forms of works of the great Arcangelo Corelli and those internalized and continued his work, such as ‘Abruzzo Neapolitan school then naturalized French Michele Mascitti and Frenchman Jean Marie Leclair.
Admission to both concerts is free until all seats.
