Art and relax. A perfect union as unusual, that in the next weekend you can experience in two of the most important museum sites in Naples: the Charterhouse and the Museum of San Martino and Royal Palace.

Two picturesque locations, which on this occasion will host yoga classes, 90 minutes each, conducted by Paolo Colussi assisted by experts students of the Yogart association.

Scheduled from 10 am to 11:30 am, simple movement and breathing practices, aimed at restoring the proper flow of energy and well-being: exercise, followed by a guided relaxation, helpful to ease tensions deeper.

The intent of the original project, born from a synergy between the Museums of Campania and Yogart, is to communicate the practice of Yoga and the knowledge of the heritage of the Neapolitan museums, offering the opportunity to participate, after each lesson, to fascinating guided tours.

In particular, Sunday, November 8, at the Certosa di San Martino, the yoga class is scheduled at the Belvedere of the monks, followed by a visit to the underground gothic recently opened. Sunday, November 15, the class will be held instead in the Refectory, followed by a visit to the Naval Section. Sunday, November 22, will once again be the refectory as a frame to yoga class, followed by the visit to the crib section of the Museum of San Martino

keeper of the main Italian public collection dedicated to “the Neapolitan crib”. From Sunday, November 29, lessons will move to the Royal Palace. First date at the ambulatory of the north arm. And, after yoga, visit to the Apartment with the Royal Chapel, the Hall of the Viceroy, the Sala Regia and those of the audience on the side of the square and private apartments beside the sea. Sunday, December 13, lesson always the ambulatory. Next, in the Diplomatic Room, you can listen to music by Cimarosa performed by a string quartet and flute of the Conservatory San Pietro a Majella in the event “Music x Museums”.

The yoga classes, open to a maximum of 40 people at a time, must necessarily be booked at: paresh.uno@virgilio.it. Those participating in the initiative will have a reduction in the cost of admission to museums. It is recommended to wear comfortable clothes and bring a mat and a blanket.
