A big horn on posters in the city: the Naples Film Festival launches its 17th edition exorcising the unlucky number for excellence with various initiatives, beginning with a contest in network “Cinema against bad luck”: the theme of course is the search for movies reminiscent cite or celebrate the themes of luck and superstition. The examples are many: from Toto La Licence to French films La Capra and La chance de ma vie, the American Luck. During the festival from Monday, September 28 to Sunday, October 4, will be presented a video that will collect scenes of films, selected by the contest, which gave space to the phenomenon of bad luck superstitious, rooted in the Neapolitan tradition, more or less fun. The most original proposals will be rewarded with a free ticket for two at the Metropolitan Cinema to attend the screening of one of the many films on the bill during the Naples Film Festival. To participate in the contest (deadline Sept. 25) is sufficient to indicate the title of the film and the minute in which it appears the scene you want to report through the Facebook page of the festival. During the event, conducted by Mario Violins, which this year will take place at the Metropolitan, to Pan, the Institut Français and the Cervantes Institute, he is also assigned the Vesuvio Award to the winners of Europe & Mediterranean, SchermoNapoli Doc, SchermoNapoli Short and SchermoNapoli School. With the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples, the Corriere del Mezzogiorno and Theatres States, the Naples Film Festival will celebrate the centenary of the birth of Mario Monicelli through the competition frames.
