The “auteur cinema” protagonist of 39th Festival “Laceno d’Oro” scheduled from 18 August to 5 September in the province of Avellino. The Festival, founded in 1959 by Camillo Marino and Giacomo D’Onofrio, and named after the town Laceno (fraction of Bagnoli Irpino in the province of Avellino), which hosted the first editions – the venue was suggested by Pier Paolo Pasolini to which the landscape reminded me of the Friulian landscape of his childhood – is looked after by the cultural Circle Film Imagination and is promoted by the Region of Campania (Department of Tourism and cultural Heritage), in collaboration with the municipalities of Avellino, Mercogliano and Atripalda.
