For Memorial Day, the Institut Francais of Naple presents the story-book of Alfredo Pezone, writer and secretary of Unesco Club Naples, “Mmamm ma. Storia di un attimo di vita in bianco e nero” in which they were collected memories of Shoah survivor. The preface of the book is edited by Maurizio De Giovanni, a great connoisseur of Naples’ 30s, who will attend the presentation scheduled for Wednesday, January 28 at 7 h. pm, in the historical complex of Via Crispi. During the evening the Neapolitan actress Rosaria De Cicco recite excerpts from the book which features the childhood of a schoolboy clandestine, enrolled in school under an assumed name, and saved by the complicity of the people of Naples. Through his eyes we discover a dark period, but also the “Four Days” of the liberation of Naples in 1943, and the fate of those who did not survive. The story is accompanied by documents that allow you to extend the reflection from the past into the present, the work necessary education and memory. The cover, very original, this book has been produced with the designs of the artist Christophe Mourey and Giuliano Piccolo brought them together and paginated with advanced processes of computer graphics. The illustrations inside are made increasingly artist Christophe Mourey. The complete layout of the book was made by Giuliano Small.
