They are rich in vitamins and allies of the line: yes we are talking about the large family of legumes, whom is dedicated  the first edition of the festival “Leguminosa” of the international Slow Food event to be held in Naples March 7 to 9.

The program of the event will unfold in three days of appointments with a market of 40
“stalls” two conference events, three earth workshops four educational courses for children and families, four taste workshops and five theaters of taste with renowned chef of regional and national scenary.
All dedicated to the promotion of a heritage of extraordinary importance for feeding, often underestimated.

Different locations where the festival will take place legume. It will range, in fact , from the majestic Hall of the Barons of Maschio Angioino, where Friday 7, at 17.30, will take place the official opening of the festival.
For onward transit to the Galleria Umberto I , which will set up a real market for fruit and vegetable producers ,through the halls of the historic foyer of the Salone Margherita, until the most famous restaurants in the Neapolitan guide “Inns of Italy 2014”.

For visitors will be able to access most of the initiatives in program completely free of charge, upon registration online, and then take advantage of gastronomic paths as the Enoteca Slow Wine, the Olioteca and Space Beer.
The organizers, in this case Slow Food Campania in collaboration with Slow Food Italy and the Centre of Studies of Slow Food International, together with the Campania Region and the City of Naples, ensure that everything will run in a sustainable environmental impact to zero.
Recall that in the course of the festival will be used exclusively biodegradable and eco-friendly material, starting from the dishes.
And the same will be true for the elements of construction that will be completely recyclable and reusable.

In addition, special attention will also be given to the collection and disposal of waste, by adopting the policy of “zero waste”, with a capillary collection.
