Church and hall packed with hundreds of people in San Gregorio Armeno, Saturday, October 18, for the first concert of the autumn New Scarlatti Orchestra: Music for the “Ladies” of San Gregorio, an original program of vocal and instrumental music of the Neapolitan and European ‘700 century, some of which, in part drawn from the valuable collection of San Gregorio, who sounded almost three centuries after its in the beautiful place for which they were conceived. By Pergolesi, Gluck, through Mancini, Vinci, Anfossi: moments of great charm and beauty stipatissimo followed by the public with an interest and a silence broken only by the warmest applause always. Beside the Ensemble Baroque of New Scarlatti Orchestra, were applauded protagonists soprano Cristina Grifone and Tommaso Rossi on flute and flute. This program, created in collaboration with the Festival di Castello, was performed in the first national on August 30 on the occasion of the 2014 edition of the Festival: Homage to Armenia.
