It is also this year the appointment with the City of Partenope (www.cittadipartenope.it), the community of supporters of the “virtuous Naples,” too often overshadowed by news stories that demean identity. Against this vicious circle, for some years the advertising Neapolitan Claudio Agrelli collected nearly eight thousand “citizens”, the equivalent of a medium-sized city that actively participate in the ongoing campaign on the sense of civic duty and the law to improve the image of Naples, as in the case of the video “Living in Naples” in a few weeks it has become one of the most acclaimed viral successes from the network or the photo book “Partenope” and other activities such as billboards, events in Italy and abroad.
On October 24, Friday, from 19.30 Agora Morelli di Chiaia will host the 2014 edition of the Premio Città di Partenope, or the happening in which all the active citizenship gather to applaud the good examples, and discuss innovative and possible solutions to improve the livability and the perceived image of the city. An event of national scope, attended by the mayor of Milan Giuliano Pisapia, and many other representatives of local institutions and not with their commentators, journalists, opinion leaders, celebrities and culture. At the center of the event, not surprisingly, a talk show with the emblematic title: “From the way the cynical sense of civic duty, what is the sense of responsibility?” In a public debate open to the public.
Many Parthenopeans then, once again, united by a common passion for Naples and its vitality, for its good practice to remember and to promote a sense of civic duty to support the city’s image.
During the evening will be awarded the “Premio Città di Partenope 2014” for two administrations of the authors of measures appreciated and replicable in Naples as well as a well-known investigative journalist and finally the author of the photograph the most votes in the “Naples as I like.”
