Getting ready to Amalfi for the Living Nativity to be held tomorrow (Sunday, December 29th), starting at h. 6.00 pm and till 10.00 pm, in the extraordinary setting of the hilltop village of Pogerola. The sacred representation, sponsored by the Municipal Tourism Committee together with the “Natale e Capodanno ad Amalfi”, is organized by Pigellula and came this year, the second edition. To say the least striking the location identified for the “Nativity” made in Amalfi: a stage of other times, old crafts, acted scenes and an ad hoc setting. Everything ready to take guests along the path that leads to the cave, gladdening with the sound of bagpipes. And above all, with the chance to taste the typical products of the place. At the end of the nativity scene, in fact, in the ancient village will be open stands where you can taste some of the first fruitsof culinary offerings from Earth of Amalfi. To mark the occasion, it will be a shuttle service is available free of charge from the center of Amalfi, starting from Piazza Flavio Gioia and return from the square of Pogerola. Also, who will reach the village of Pogerola can also take the opportunity to stop at the Church of Santa Marina where you set up one of the oldest traditional Christmas cribs with wooden figures that date back to ’700 in Naples.
