Four white storks born this year on the trellis Enel Sala Consilina. The specimens were born in spring and these days are “training” to fly to be ready to leave the nest in the company of “mom and dad”. According to data collected by the volunteers of environmental ATAPS of Sala Consilina (operating a constant monitoring in collaboration with the engineers of the company) are about sixty specimens that have taken off from the tower Enel since 1996 today. One chosen to nest not a trellis any: from the first sighting in 1996, Enel has adopted a series of measures to protect the pair of storks and their young, making a true “security operation” on the support that has seen, inter alia, the insulation of the conductors more close to the nest.
