The Valentine’s Day will be celebrated this year at the Royal Palace in the name of “Ferdinando and Carolina”, the two specimens of royal swan who dwell in Peschiera del Park just over a week.

The Superintendent will propose, for Saturday, February 14, a guided tour of the romantic gardens of the “Castelluccia”, connected by a canal just to the basin in which they swim the two splendid examples of swans.

The tour called “The Garden Secrets”, a definition that was used in the Declaration of Drawings by Luigi Vanvitelli, will bring guests to take a hike in the “Old Forest” Park of the Palace to admire the spaces, architecture and botanical species live there, among which camellias even nineteenth-century origin.

Visitors will also attend a theatrical-musical in period costumes entitled “Miniature, Love & United”, which tell stories of love born and lived in the Court of Caserta.

The visit includes the obligatory reservation via email (ancona.leonardo@beniculturali.it, addolorataines.peduto@beniculturali.it) or telephone (0823 277 423 from 11 to 12 and from 15 to 16).

The event is scheduled for Saturday at 10:30 at the entrance of the park.

The Valentine’s Day with Ferdinando and Carolina will be shared with photos and dedications on the pages of the social Reggia (facebook.com/reggiaufficiale and twitter accounts and CasertaReggiaReggiace) using the hashtag #allareggiaconNoi.
