Friday, July 4th start. And every Friday evening in July, August, September and early October, in the Ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum, you can take part in itineraries designed ad hoc by the Superintendence for Archaeological Heritage of Pompeii, Herculaneum and Stabiae.
In the town of Mary, departing from Port Superior Marina, you can admire the Suburban Baths and participate in a route that will develop along the boulevard outside the archaeological area that runs along the walls. Space then the temple of Venus and the Villa Imperiale. The tour will end in the Auditorium of the Piazza Esedra with a movie that will outline the main phases of the eruption in 79 AD buried the city. Not least is the path set up in Herculaneum, where we will be welcoming visitors in the atrium of the ticket, an interactive installation with projecting images of sea-themed mosaics, while in the conference room will be screening the movie in 3D on ‘eruption of Vesuvius, produced by MAV with the collaboration of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology. The route then continues Herculaneum in the pavilion of the boat where you can see the hull of the Roman period found in the early 80s of the last century along with other artifacts related to the maritime activities of the ancient Herculaneum.
