Great tribute to Lucio Dalla, tomorrow, Saturday, February 28, from 16.30 pm, in the council chamber of the City of Sorrento, which will host the presentation, national premiere of “Caruso The Song – Lucio Dalla and Sorrento”, the novel of writer Raffaele Lauro, published by GoldenGate. Result of a three-year, the volume brings to light little-known aspects of Dalla from: childhood of “child prodigy”, already voted to the entertainment world, the relationship almost fifty years with Sorrento, which he characterized as “the true angle of my soul”. The event is a tribute to the City of Sorrento has wanted to pay tribute to Dalla, honorary citizen, on the third anniversary of the disappearance. At the conclusion of the presentation will follow, in the same location, a concert by Salvatore Converso Orchestra, whose program includes the performance of ten songs, protagonists of the book. From “Torna a Surriento” to “Era de maggio”, “Maria Marì”, “4 marzo 1943”, “Piazza Grande”, “L’anno che verrà” and “Caruso”.
Before the presentation, the inauguration of the photo exhibition, “Lucio Dalla and Sorrento”, curated by Antonino Fattorusso. For the occasion, the Sorrento’s perfumers, Mario, Gino and Maurizio Limone, offer participants a new perfume, named in honor of the artist, “Assaje”, characterized by the fragrances of lemon, which he loved so much.
