Sorrentina’s rolled veal and ham . Meat which includes different flavors

The recipes of traditional Neapolitan cuisine.

Born from the creativity of the chefs of the coast dear to the composer Caruso, the Sorrentina’s rolled veal and ham is a second flow full and satisfying even for the most hungry.

Ingredients (for 4 people):

4 slices of veal

4 slices of mozzarella

4 slices of prosciutto (preferably in the mountains)

200 gr cherry tomatoes

1 bundle basil

oregano

extra virgin olive oil

butter

salt

pepper

Making of recipe.

Take the slices of meat and whip a little  to soften them . Put them in a pan with oil and butter ,bringing until golden, salt and pepper lightly . Remove them from the pan in which now you prepare with the same oil , a sauce with chopped tomatoes into small pieces. During cooking, add a little ‘ of oregano. Five minutes maximum . Meanwhile, then place in a buttered baking dish new , the browned slices of meat , a slice of ham and a mozzarella (made it dry a bit ‘ in the freezer ) . Cooked the sauce, put a spoonful of this on each slice . Put the pan in the oven , over high heat , until the cheese melts . Serve with a good red wine.
