The National Academy of Sartori organizes, also for 2015, the competition “Manichino d’Oro“. The event, organized together with Confartigianato of Naples and with the support of the Chamber of Commerce, is aimed at young tailors of both sexes on the national territory and is dedicated to feminine tailoring. The challengers (can not have exceeded 40 years of age in the calendar year preceding the date of the competition) will be asked to pack a woman’s dress. “Manichino d’Oro”, in fact, is a recognition that the Academy gives to tailor craftsman who has been able to better highlight the style, the technical capacity, the creativity and the formal rigor of bespoke tailoring. The competition, which will take place early on a regional level (the winners of each regional trials will compete later in Rome, at the annual event “Style Academy“), will provide the winner a safe statement, allowing all regional finalists the opportunity to meet with colleagues from all over Italy, and then to disclose the Italian craftsmanship and in particular the “Sartoria Napoletana” in every corner of the country. The work of young tailors will be evaluated by a panel of academics and supporters of the Competition. Will be attending the performance, scheduled for next January 8 in the halls of the Chamber of Commerce of Naples: Maurizio Maddaloni – President of the same entity Chamber Naples; Enrico Inferrera – president of Confartigianato of Naples and Lello Antonelli – regional delegate of the Academy of Sartori. The awards will be January 9 in the premises of the Chamber of Commerce of Naples to the presence of the President of the National Academy of Sartori Sebastiano di Rienzo and the President of BCC, Amedeo Manzo.
